Basmati Rice

When it comes to cooking rice, nothing beats a rice cooker. It completely transforms the texture—making the rice fluffier, softer, and perfectly cooked every time. I truly believe the key to perfect basmati rice is having a good rice cooker. I’ll include a link to the one I purchased recently and really love.
In the meantime, here is my simple basmati rice recipe that yields about 4 cups of perfectly fluffy rice!

Cook Time 30 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cup basmati rice
  • 3 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear (optional).
  • Add the rice, water, and salt to the rice cooker.
  • Stir lightly, then start the rice cooker.
  • Cook until the cycle is complete.
  • Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes with the lid closed.
  • Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
