Basmati Rice
When it comes to cooking rice, nothing beats a rice cooker. It completely transforms the texture—making the rice fluffier, softer, and perfectly cooked every time. I truly believe the key to perfect basmati rice is having a good rice cooker. I’ll include a link to the one I purchased recently and really love.In the meantime, here is my simple basmati rice recipe that yields about 4 cups of perfectly fluffy rice!
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cup basmati rice
- 3 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear (optional).
- Add the rice, water, and salt to the rice cooker.
- Stir lightly, then start the rice cooker.
- Cook until the cycle is complete.
- Let rest for 5 to 10 minutes with the lid closed.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
