Meatballs, Sweet and Sour Sauce
Here is a really easy (and excellent) recipe that isn’t complicated and doesn’t require many ingredients. It’s a perfect recipe for a weeknight meal!

- 700 g ground beef
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
Sweet and sour sauce
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- ⅓ cup white vinegar
- 1 cup beef broth
Shape the ground beef into 24 meatballs.
For the sweet and sour sauce, combine all the ingredients together and set aside.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil and sauté the garlic for about one minute.
Add the meatballs to the pan and brown them on all sides. Add the bell peppers and sauté for 1–2 minutes.
Stir in all the ingredients for the sweet and sour sauce and cook until the sauce thickens.
Serve hot with rice.
