Green Pea Rice

Green Pea Rice
Here is my recipe for green pea rice. To add more flavor, I cook the rice in chicken broth and, toward the end of cooking, I add a little butter! It’s my little secret that makes all the difference! It’s perfect as a side dish with skewers or any cut of meat. Also, I don’t use canned peas. I find them too mushy. Frozen peas are sweeter and I prefer their texture. I highly recommend trying frozen peas for this recipe! Plus, they keep well in the freezer and can be used for many other great recipes. This recipe yields enough to serve as a side for 6 people.
