Ariane, a Hint of Basil & Maple Syrup
Welcome to my kitchen — where Québec sweetness meets global flavors.
My name is Ariane, and for over 15 years, I’ve been cooking with love, curiosity,
and a touch of creative spark.
Maple syrup reflects my warmth and Québec roots. Basil captures my love for
Italian cuisine — and my lively edge, too.
I’ve always found joy in sharing food and the happiness it brings. Over the years,
I’ve explored many culinary paths:
from making homemade pasta and bread to crafting filled chocolates and
sculpted cakes (yes, even an edible elephant!).
I’ve embraced the flavors of the world — learning to make margherita pizza in
Naples in Italy, Paris-Brest pastries from France, and North African dishes like
chicken tagine with olives and preserved lemon for my husband, who was born in
Québec but whose mother is Algerian and who often asks me to recreate the
comforting dishes of his childhood.
This site is my edible journal — a space to share inspirations, favorites, and a
sprinkle of kitchen magic.
