Lavender Lemon Mocktail
I love mocktail recipes because I don’t drink much alcohol. I find the combination of lavender and lemon absolutely divine! If you’re having friends over or just want to make yourself a little mocktail on a Friday evening, this is definitely a recipe worth keeping in your collection.For this recipe, you’ll need lavender syrup and honey syrup. Below is how to make both at home.
Lavender Syrup
· ¼ cup sugar· ¼ cup water· ½ tablespoon edible lavender1. Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.2. Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove the lavender.3. You will obtain a syrup with a delicate lavender flavor.Honey Syrup
· 1 part honey· ½ part waterHeat the honey and water together until it forms a smooth syrup.I also use a cocktail shaker to make this mocktail. I’ll leave a link if you’d like to get one on Amazon.Ingredients
- 1 once fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lavender syrup
- 1 tbsp honey syrup
- 2 onces sparkling water
- ice cubes
Instructions
- In a shaker, mix the lemon juice, lavender syrup, and honey syrup with ice. Pour into a glass and add the sparkling water. Garnish with lemon zest.
