Bacon-Wrapped Cocktail Sausages with maple syrup

This appetizer recipe is one from my childhood. It’s so delicious and comforting. It’s a recipe that’s nearly impossible to mess up… unless you forget the sausages in the oven!
I remember, when I was younger, at Christmas Eve dinner, this appetizer was always on the table. We would announce when the sausages came out of the oven because five minutes later, there were none left! In true Quebecois fashion, we would rush to grab those little sausages. My cousins and I would even argue over who would get the last cocktail sausage!
You can also serve this appetizer on any occasion—it doesn’t have to be the holiday season! If you need an appetizer for guests, serve them these bacon-wrapped cocktail sausages with maple syrup! Your guests will be blown away by this recipe!
For yield, I’d say if you’re a small group of 4 or 5 people, the quantities are enough. If you’re 6 or more, I suggest doubling the recipe—these little sausages go fast!
