Toast your slice of rustic bread.
In a skillet with a bit of butter, cook the egg so that the center remains runny. Add salt and pepper to taste. Flip the egg to continue cooking, but keep the yolk soft and runny.
Mash the avocado flesh with a fork and add lemon juice. Season generously with salt.
To assemble, spread the mashed avocado on your toast.
Then place the egg on top of the avocado spread.
Serve with fresh fruit!
