Barbecue Sauce
This barbecue sauce recipe is easy to make. No need to chop garlic or onions! It’s simple and so flavorful! I really recommend making it. I’m sure you already have the ingredients for this recipe in your fridge and pantry.This recipe yields about 1 ½ cups of sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- ½ cup ketchup
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tbsp whole grain Dijon mustard (or regular Dijon mustard)
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan.
- Add the ketchup, molasses, Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar.
- Then add the brown sugar and spices.
- Stir until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
- Once the sauce is ready, you can brush it onto your meat during cooking.
